| Communicating Across Generations |
In this 1 day workshop, we look at the characteristics of the various generations in the workplace and how the differences can be tapped to improve workplace harmony.
It will enable participants to establish effective strategies to communicate with each other. |
| Conflict Resolution |
There are two major myths about conflict: that it always involves anger and that it's always negative. Conflict can actually be a positive tool for growth if you know how to manage it properly. This one-day course will teach participants just how to do that.
You will learn to:
• Understand conflict
• Be able to identify the stages of conflict
• Use LECSR to resolve conflict
• Identify other ways to resolve conflict
• Develop personal skills necessary to resolve conflict |
| Develop a Workplace Learning Environment |
This course describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to encourage and support the development of a learning environment in which work and learning come together. Particular emphasis is on the development of strategies to facilitate and promote learning, and to monitor and improve learning performance.
You can choose to have this course assessed towards a unit of competency for a nationally recognised qualification at the Diploma level. |
| Develop Workplace Policy & Procedures |
This course describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop and implement a workplace sustainability policy, including the modification of the policy to suit changed circumstances. This unit requires the ability to access industry information, applicable legislative and occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.
You can choose to have this course assessed towards a unit of competency for a nationally recognised qualification at the Diploma level. |
