General Course Information

In this 2-day program, participants will gain the advanced skills and techniques allowing them to enhance Websites using Dreamweaver.

 

You will learn to

Ø  Identify the advantages of using CSS and the difference between internal and external style sheets, Link a page to an external style sheet, define content sections with <div> tags and IDs, and edit CSS rules

Ø  Create a navigation bar using rollover images. Add the Swap Image behaviour to control other images

Ø  Insert and adjust AP elements

Ø  Create, apply and edit templates and edit library items

Ø  Create a form and insert a variety of input fields, lists, radio buttons and check boxes

Ø  Create and draw layers, modify layer properties, embed a Flash movie in a layer and apply behaviours to layers

Ø  Identify the components of the Timelines panel, create and modify a timeline animation and apply timeline behaviours

Ø  Convert HTML pages to an XSLT file and bind XML data. Create a repeat region in an XSLT file, create dynamic links, and attach XSLT pages to an XML document

Ø  Manage files in a group work setting by Check In/Check Out and check for browser-specific errors and fix accessibility problems

 

What skills you need

The ability to use Dreamweaver to the level covered by our Dreamweaver CS3 Introduction course.

Create a navigation bar using rollover images
