General Course Information In this 2-day program, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to allow them to use more animation techniques, ActionScript, behaviours, audio and video techniques. You will learn to Ø Create and edit movie clips Ø Create movie clip masks, guide a mask, mask a guide and apply, edit and delete Timeline effects Ø Apply basic ActionScript to create interactive functionality and apply behaviours Ø Apply a variety of form components, modify component parameters, apply form validation scripts and accessibility features Ø Use ActionScript to style components and customise a theme Ø Import content into a TextArea component and a dynamic text field Ø Import data from an XML document and import data using the XML class Ø Import sound files, add sound to a document, add a button, apply sound effects, edit sound effects and compress sound objects Ø Import a video file and create play or pause actions by applying embedded video behaviours Ø Apply samples and templates to build a Flash document Ø Test the download performance of a movie and generate a size report Ø Apply a preloader movie, export a movie, publish a movie, create a publish profile and embed a Flash movie in an existing Web page What skills you need The ability to use Flash to the level covered in our Flash MX 2004 Introduction course. You should also be familiar with Web browsers, the Internet and basic media technologies. Please note If you are a current user of any Macromedia product please take the time to fill in the Skills Audit which is attached and forward it back to us prior to booking as this will enable that you are placed on the correct level course Training includes Each participant receives a training reference manual/workbook and supplementary training materials.
