Course Information This 1 Day course has been designed to provide a basic understanding of a PC and the Windows operating environment You will learn to Ø Understand some basic PC
terminology and concepts Ø Startup a PC Ø Use a Mouse within the Windows
environment Ø Navigate around the Windows environment Ø Change the size of a window Ø Perform basic housekeeping
functions such as format a diskette, copy, move and delete files Ø Organise your files by creating,
moving and renaming folders Ø Create a simple letter using
Microsoft Word Ø Create a simple spreadsheet using
Microsoft Excel Ø Shutdown a PC correctly What
skills you need No prior knowledge or experience using PCs is required. Electus
