In this practical 1 day course, participants will gain the knowledge and skills required to communicate clearly and effectively in a wide variety of situations

You will learn to:

Ø  Describe the filters and fears that affect and restrict your communications

Ø  Identify and describe different communication styles

Ø  Outline the importance of cultural differences to effective communication

Ø  Manage your own perceptions and the perceptions of others during interactions

Ø  Outline the Three V’s of communication and their impact on how we are

perceived by others

Ø  Apply empathic listening techniques and questioning to ensure understanding

Ø  Articulate the benefits of communicating assertively

Ø  Apply techniques for making effective requests and promises
