General Course Information This one day course is intended to provide a working knowledge of the planning and organising of a meeting, the purpose of the meeting, managing the personalities, manage conflict and decision making and meeting protocol. The workshop also covers how to record minutes, distribution, follow-up actions and reviewing meeting policy & procedures. |

You will learn to: Ř Ensure the meetings are planned and organised to meet the purpose Ř Ensure the attendees are prepared and have the appropriate requirements for the meeting Ř Handle conflict within the meeting Ř Observe meeting protocol Ř Manage and record decisions… follow up actions Ř Prepare practical templates for the agenda and minutes Ř To take succinct and meaningful minutes, and identify what needs to go in the minutes and what can be left out Ř Distribute pre and post meeting documentation efficiently Ř Implement and review meeting procedures |

Who needs to come: Anyone responsible for minute-taking for business meetings in medium to large organisations, or formal minutes for associations.
